Here are some salad and wrap recipes to try at home.

Custom wraps and salads are available at many restaurants today. Some are homemade, fresh, with natural ingredients from which customers can select to make their own custom salads and wraps. Here are some salad and wrap recipes to try at home.

BBQ Tortilla Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped salad greens
  • 1/2 cup cooked red beans
  • 1/2 cup fresh or canned corn
  • Small handful chopped cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 1 cup BBQ chicken cut in small pieces
  • 10 to 15 tortilla chips
  • Favorite dressing, to taste

Instructions:

Toss the above ingredients with your choice of dressing, to taste.

 

Steakhouse Wrap

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped, grilled sirloin
  • 1/4 cup bleu cheese
  • Small handful fried onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • Favorite dressing, to taste
  • Large flavored wrap

Instructions:

In a bowl, toss the above ingredients with your favorite dressing; spread in the center of a large flavored flour tortilla and roll into a burrito.

 

Signature Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup chopped lettuce greens of your choice
  • 1 cup chopped, grilled chicken
  • 1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup cooked pitalini pasta
  • Favorite dressing, to taste

Instructions:

Toss the above ingredients with dressing; serve with French bread.
