Colorpuncture: healing with light and color

Light and color applied to the skin — the line of demarcation between the physical and energy bodies — can trigger a harmonizing, healing impulse in both spheres.

The skin is the gateway to the inside of the body. Throughout all ages and cultures, the skin has been the medium for the treatment of most illnesses and is key when utilizing energetic medicine.

As Dr. Stephen T. Sinatra and others have noted, energy medicine is the future of medicine. Why? Because many feel we are reaching the limits of traditional medicine — hospital infections, unnecessary procedures and adverse drug reactions kill more people than cancer or heart disease.

People are increasingly finding their way to energy medicine. “Our bodies are rivers of energy,” Deepak Chopra stated. Our bodies are dependent on light’s energy. Without sunlight to interact with cholesterol in the skin, for example, we cannot make vitamin D, which is necessary for a strong immune system. Mounting research shows that our 50 trillion cells communicate amongst themselves with light, a form of low-level luminescence.

To use light as medicine to heal — this is our essence. We can use light to reintroduce the correct “informative energy” into our bodies. It’s like eradicating viruses from our biocomputer’s software. Peter Mandel, a naturopath and homeopathic physician in Germany, created a healing art called “Colorpuncture” to harness the medicinal energy of light.

Light is the combination of the colors of the rainbow, and each color bears a specific relationship to our health. The Colorpuncture technique beams colored light straight to afflicted cells with the harmonizing information inherent in color — and the healing is communicated from cell to cell. The color is the message; the medium is light focused on specific point combinations on the skin via colored rods of quartz glass.

Light and color applied to the skin — the line of demarcation between the physical and energy bodies — can trigger a harmonizing, healing impulse in both spheres. A physical symptom is merely the final link in a very long chain.

What sets Colorpuncture apart from homeopathy, Western medicine, naturopathy and acupuncture is that it also contains a new key to prevention. Colorpuncture clears deep-seated emotional issues that otherwise could trigger future sickness.
