The IM=X Pilates program blends the best of Pilates with strength training and cardiovascular conditioning — a combination that provides faster results. Sessions combine resistance training, stretching, aerobic activity and muscle strengthening to achieve fast, consistent results.

IM=X, which stands for Integrated Movement Xercize, incorporates principles of Pilates along with more athletically oriented concepts of strength and flexibility training. The programs are elite fitness formulas that marry the muscle toning and lengthening benefits of Pilates with the best elements of strength and cardio training.

The sequences are designed to emphasize muscle endurance, fat burning and some signature Pilates moves. Forced exhalation breath also is incorporated to increase the core strengthening benefits of exercise.
